This is the only way in which air conditioners can run optimally. Often, air conditioners are not performing at their peak because they have not been properly maintained. Ideally, an air conditioner should be serviced once a year. If the unit is placed in a more corrosive environment, such as on a beach front area, then the air conditioner will need to be serviced more often.
